Chicago has a lot of talent but Lucki is definitely one of a kind. By creating is own lane at only 18, he is one of the most exciting new acts that hip-hop has birthed in the past years. I can’t wait to see his evolution.
If you like great writings, intricate wordplays and great production, you are in for a treat! I haven’t seen his project everywhere and it is a shame but with Plain Pat as his manager, I’m pretty sure a lot of people will stop sleeping on him.
From the mystic surrounding the artist, the album and everything in between, Jai Paul’s album, demo or whatever you want to call it is my favorite album this year. It’s truly a blessing for the ears nothing but great melodies, sick rhythms and on point singing. Even if the quality is real demo-ish, you Knox you are listening to pure uncut raw talent.
Skeme is the definition of a slept-on artist! Even if he’s doing tracks with some of the biggest artists in the game, the spotlights isn’t put on him while he absolutely kills everything he touches! His last projects were already dope but with “Ingleworld”, he stepped up and delivers a sonically perfect album packed with honest lyrics.
His second album is a subtle mix of electronica, R&B and mid-tempo tracks without being too much or too grandiose. This is the perfect soundtrack for my travels and trips.
